JDRF welcomes Central PA Type 1 Children and Their Families to Spooky Nook Sports for a fun filled day of games, sports, networking and more!
Join us January 26 from 9am-5pm for a day of sports, games and activities led by Diabetes Destiny.
Who is invited? This program is designed for Type 1 children, their parents and siblings.
What will we do? The jam -packed agenda is full of fun for the whole family:
Sports – from soccer to clip and climb and more!
Games – led by Diabetes Destiny
Stories – led by professional storyteller and Type 1 diabetic Rich Humphreys
Education – panels with CDEs, diabetic athletes and more.
Is lunch included? Absolutely!

What is Diabetes Destiny? Located in Lititz, PA, Diabetes Exercise Strategies Together In Network with You (D.E.S.T.I.N.Y) brings people with Diabetes together to learn about strategies from others and how to maximize their glucose control through the highest level of sports and life activities. Where is Spooky Nook Sports? Located just minutes from Lancaster and Harrisburg, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd, Manheim, PA 17545
What is the cost? FREE for kids and their parents. Registration is required and is on a first come first serve basis.
What are the hours? The program will run from 8am-4pm and includes lunch. Registration begins at 9:00 am.
