Superheroes of T1D – Tages Hamilton

Serious complications of T1D such as hypoglycemia, ketoacidosis, neuropathy and gastro paresis happen to many diabetics.
Tages (of Camp Hill) has experienced most of these since his diagnosis 15 years ago. While JDRF is focused on a cure for T1D, it is funding advances to ensure that all type 1 diabetics have minimal or no complications and the best quality of life
until type one is type NONE.

November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. Every few days during the month, we will be bringing you the Superheroes of T1D.  All photos are of children and adults with type 1 diabetes, living in Central Pennsylvania.
